Downtown Waterville Spirit

“Downtown Waterville Spirit” received 2^Nd Place in oils at the 2020 Piqua Fine Art Show and received 1^st Place at the Art and About Jim White Memorial Plein-Air Paint Out in Waterville Ohio – 2018

As I set up to paint, a group of school kids walked by and were excited about what I was painting.  They were all smiles and full of enthusiastic joy!  They seemed to reflect the joyful downtown spirit in Waterville, Ohio.  They were the highlight of my morning as I painted this, and I knew I wanted to capture the Spirit of the moment.
